Our Services

Extensive experience in leading the Transformation of Finance functions across multiple Sectors including Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, Utilities and Higher Education. Providing Finance assessment, Feasibility Study, Business Case, Target Operating Model and Implementation services for Finance functions ranging from 50 to 1K FTE internationally. Clients range from Β£150m to Β£4bn Turnover.

We recognise that effective Business Requirements are a critical component in Finance Transformation program success and we designed our Tool BUSREQ to address this. By producing in depth Business Requirements which are based on experience across 20 Programs. Business Requirements of sufficient depth are critical to contract negotiations and Program success. BUSREQ is based on knowing the right questions to ask, of whom and Risk Assessing the results.

Michael Ryan has a deep specialism in Finance Shared Services in industry at both Argos and Whitbread. Followed by 10 years in Consulting at Deloitte and Logica within the Shared Services & Outsourcing Practices. He offers Interim Leadership support to your Finance Shared Services Centre and can also provide Feasibility, Design and Implementation support as required. Michael has led the Turnaround of several underperforming Finance Shared Service Centres.

Experience in designing all forms of Finance function including Shared Services Captive and BPO, Global Business Services and in situ Finance Process Reengineering. All TOM design is based on an extensive understanding of the Current Operating Model (COM) which is based on our deep operational Finance Leadership experience.

Many Clients request a Review of their End to End Finance Processes, in particular Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) where most Efficiency and Compliance issues are faced. A Review of all 3 major Finance Processes takes on average 12 weeks for P2P, O2C and R2R.

Many Clients deploy more than one Consultancy on their Finance Transformation Programs particularly where an ERP upgrade is taking place as part of the Transformation. Program Assurance provides a Professional second opinion based on our unique background of Big 4 with Deloitte and operational Finance leadership with Argos and Whitbread. Program Assurance has been provided on 4 Consultancies.

Our knowledge and experience is distilled into our Training Courses which are a combination of on-line, in person and in house. We provide leadership Training in Finance Transformation and Training for Non-Financial Managers who provide a core ingredient in the success of any Transformation Program. We also provide Process specific Training to Transform core Finance Processes such as Accounts Payable.
